Accessing an Example of a Marital Separation/Settlement Agreement using Lexis

The book, Maryland Divorce and Separation Law, 9thed, includes chapter 4, “Marital Settlement Agreements.” The appendix to that chapter is an example or template for an agreement. It includes different clauses for dealing with the many possibilities that might be considered in such an agreement. The book does not have specific information on the grounds of mutual consent as it was written before the law change in October 2015.

Please ask the librarian if you would like to see a copy of the book that is kept on reserve. The agreement is also published in standalone book: Marital Settlement Agreement – Form (KEM1300.M37 2009)

These books can also be found on Lexis available in the computer room on computers labeled “Lexis.”
