Pro Bono and Self Help Resources and Referrals

The Anne Arundel County Public Law Library  in the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court has seen a large increase in the number of non-attorney library customers.  Many are representing themselves because they want to, but the majority cannot afford an attorney and do not qualify for many of the legal services programs.

Jonathan Kagan as President of the  Anne Arundel Bar Association  2008-2009 sought to increase Pro Bono activity by the AABA.  This wiki is the result of that collaboration between the Anne Arundel County Public Law Library and the Pro Bono Committee of the Anne Arundel Bar Association that year.

The AACPLL wiki is a guide to  pro bono and self-help resources and referrals.  This wiki will facilitate the sharing of information for the administration and development of AABA Pro Bono and Local Pro Bono Committee projects.
